Manic Mondays are behind us, but the mission continues!
To get on the ballot this November, I’m working toward a goal of 1,500 signatures by June 15.
My daughter had the sweetest idea… why not use the Washington County Ice Cream Trail to meet up?
While the official trail doesn't kick off until June 2nd, I’ve decided we need a Pre-Season Practice. Think of it as a trail warm-up!
I’ll be hanging out at five of our amazing local shops over the next few weeks. You’ll be able to find me easily; just look for the person in the campaign shirt!
Please note: These are not events sponsored by the venues; I’m simply letting you know where I’ll be grabbing a treat so we can connect. It only takes two minutes to sign the petition, and while you’re there, you can support a local business and get your taste buds ready for the official trail launch if you so choose!

Washington County, this is it, the final countdown!
We are on a mission to hit 1,500 signatures by June 15th to officially get Taj Smith on the ballot for County Commissioner, and we need your help to cross the finish line! 
Join us at the Barrel Bodega Bar for an evening of great drinks, great food, and community action.
Here is the breakdown:
When: Tuesday, June 11th | 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Where: The Barrel Bodega Bar (17618 Valley Mall Rd.)
The Perks: Everyone who attends gets one FREE "Changemaker" signature drink (available in both a delicious orange cocktail or mocktail version!) plus a complimentary charcuterie spread to graze on.
While we've got your first drink and some light grazing covered, we highly encourage everyone to open a tab and explore the rest of the menu! The Barrel Bodega Bar is an incredible local business, and they have fantastic sandwiches and an amazing drink selection. Let’s show them some love while we’re there!
